Warranty

Friction - Pads or Shoes will carry a guarantee of free replacement as long as you own your vehicle, plus free installation up to 4 years or 48,000 miles from their original purchase date or mileage (whichever comes first) under the Guarantee if:

• Deemed defective by Car-X

• Worn to a thickness of 2/32nds of 1 inch for bonded material

• Worn to a thickness of 5/32nds of 1 inch for riveted material
  

Not Covered

• Routine scheduled maintenance items / services

• Brake Fluid / Flushing

• Master Cylinders, Power Boosters, and Electrical components

• A.B.S. components, Proportioning / Metering valves

• Axle, Hub, Wheel bearings & Hubs

Rotors & Drums - Rotor(s) and/or Drum(s) will carry a guarantee of free replacement plus free installation (as long as you own the vehicle) up to 4 years or 48,000 miles from their original purchase date or mileage (whichever comes first) if:

• Deemed defective by Car-X

• Worn to a thickness or diameter beyond manufacturer’s specifications for allowable resurfacing.
  

Hydraulics - Calipers, wheel cylinder assemblies, brake hoses and steel brake lines will carry a guarantee of free replacement plus free installation (as long as you own the vehicle) up to 4 years or 48,000 miles from their original purchase date or mileage (whichever comes first) if:

• Deemed defective by Car-X

• Worn to a condition that will not allow part to function as designed by manufacturer
